Excellent all round knife from Parker Cut. Co. Japan .The knife is in excellent condition. It appears to have factory edge. The blade does show some light scratches. The knife is marked Parker Cut. Co. Surgical Steel on one side and Japan on other. It is also marked Eagle Brand Cutlery. Belt clip sheath.
Jim Parker (the once owner of Case Knives) created Parker Eagle Brand in the 70's. Knives were manufactured in Japan and later in the USA. Parker eventually sold the business to 3 of his supervisors, and it became Bear MGC. It is now Bear & Son, and still making knives, steel, and pattern-welded steel. The company evolved from: 1979-1983 Parker Eagle brand to 1986-1989 Parker-Edwards. No Parker Eagle Brand knives were manufactured after 1989 .
